Two fully-furnished bedrooms are available on the third floor in a newly-built, four-bedroom eco-house in the Cedar Park neighborhood of West Philly. These two rooms shares a third-floor bathroom - other housemates have their own bathrooms.
Shared... house spaces include the living room, dining room, kitchen, first floor study, laundry room, basement storage, front porch, and rear deck. The monthly rent is $875 plus $100 utility charge, so the total monthly rent of $965 includes reliable high-speed internet and all utilities (including central air conditioning, heat, hot water, and electricity).
The house is within walking distance of Penn, Drexel, and St. Joe's West Philly campus, is within the PennTransit shuttle area for a free, door-to-door evening ride home, and has good access to public transportation (three blocks from the West Philly Trolley). The Cedar Park area is beautiful, with great local restaurants, a wonderful food co-op, and several parks.
The house has hardwood floors throughout, ceiling fans in each bedroom, a ground-source heat pump, rooftop solar power, and top-end appliances. Both rooms are furnished, but if you have your own bedroom furniture we can remove and store the existing furniture.
No smoking or pets.
